Time for action. Time for choice. Time for free drinks.

25 states allow employees the chance to opt out of union membership. Missouri does not. On September 16th, #moleg will meet for its annual veto override session. Republicans have the opportunity to override Gov. Jay Nixon’s veto of this year’s #rightowork legislation.

In honor of the 109 votes needed in the House, the YR’s are giving out 109 free drinks. The goal? Recruit liberty-loving 18 to 40-year-olds who want to make a difference by empowering workers with choice. Stop by Vue 17, September 3rd, between 5 and 7:30 pm to learn about #freedomtowork from policy experts, meet with your elected officials, and help Missouri become the 26th Right-to-Work state.

If you aren’t St. Louis local, give your thumbs some exercise by joining the @stlyrs Tweetup/Twitter chat at 6:00 pm on September 3rd. Use the hashtag #RTW109. Bring the heat.

Directions: The building is located on Brentwood Blvd. across from the Galleria. The tall, gray one. You can’t miss it. Parking out front. Take the elevator up to #1700.
