Members of the St. Louis Central Committee recently started a new group called “Show Me Conservatives Care.” According to their spokes person, Jennifer Kelly, they are a “Conservative volunteer group demonstrating through service that we deeply care about our community.”

In July they assisted Operation Food Search in collecting groceries on Jubilee Saturday.  The team gathered 12 grocery carts for local food banks.  The next event is helping with the International Institute’s Festival of Nations the weekend of August 24th at Tower Grove Park.  In September they are scheduled to help The Adoption Exchange at their Heart Gallery Golf Classic on Monday, September 23rd at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.  They also adopted-a-day with the Coalition for Life on Sunday, September 29th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will be needing two volunteers per hour to stand in peaceful prayerful vigil outside Planned Parenthood in Central West End.

In the future, according to Kelly, they plan to support Covenant House, Missouri Veterans Commission, Rankin Jordan Hospital, Case de Salud, St. Patrick’s Center, Rebuilding Together, Thrive, Our Lady’s Inn, and St. Louis Earth Day. It is their goal to support the St. Louis community in as many ways possible.
