From Ed Martin:

This morning, Redstate was the first to break the highly explosive truth that Governor Jay Nixon’s office has, in fact, been sharing personal data and has in fact complied with the REAL ID act of 2005, despite signing a 2009 law blocking its regulations being put into action.
In the letter below, dated to Governor Jay Nixon on March 17th, 2010 from Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Nixon was thanked for implementing the REAL ID act and its regulations.  Napolitano went on to thank Nixon further for his “continued commitment to secure identification initiatives.”.
